Yasmeen Rotana Hotel

We delivered full MEP design, vertical transportation, and audio-visual consultancy services for this 5-star Rotana Hotel in Damascus.

The project is a first-of-its-kind, having six levels of basement; three of which are car park levels and the rest consisting of back-of-house kitchens, laundries, ballroom, meeting rooms, and offices, resulting in the main focus of plant location, all being below ground. This, coupled with the diverse annual climate conditions at 600 m above sea-level, resulted in producing a full thermal model and sun path analysis of the building using a modelling software to ensure accurate diversified building loads were calculated.
