Black & White was appointed as the lead design consultant responsible for the design development of a pre-permitted scheme in Germany.

The facility was designed for a major cloud provider, in accordance with their global design standards. The adoption of the design standards presented a unique challenge given the existing planning constraints imposed. The scheme consisted of two buildings, with a total IT load of approximately 48 MW. A dedicated support building and substation was also included. The phasing of the scheme and the client’s particular deployment requirements arranged to enable early RFS, were also met.
