Nakheel Harbour and Tower

Black & White provided energy modelling for this mixed-use development which comprises of residential apartments, public spaces, and offices.

We undertook a climatic study, sun path analysis, and produced a concept energy report within six months of being introduced to the project, realising significant energy savings, as well as more efficient smaller plant/space requirements. Achievements of changes following analysis of original design included the reduction of cooling requirements by 50%, reduction of solar gain by 35%, reduction of conduction gains by 32%, and CO2 saving 6,140 tonnes per annum.
