Our team completes an 8-week blended learning pathway on data centres with Schneider Electric

At Black & White, we recognise that staying ahead in this ever-changing field requires continuous education and upskilling.
This dedication to excellence prompted our engagement in an 8-week blended learning initiative with Schneider Electric, through our Black & White Global Academy. Taking place throughout September and October, this learning opportunity was specifically tailored to delve into the essential aspects of data centre design and management. The programme provided our team with the flexibility to engage with the material and interact with fellow experts in the field. Each week brought forth a new topic, giving our team with a deeper understanding of the subject matter and targeted learning experience. An average of over 100 participants attended each virtual session, creating a conducive environment for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
In addition to the live sessions, our team was able to access 12 e-learning modules, designed to complement the virtual interactions. These modules are centered around electrical distribution, offering a comprehensive and essential overview of the data centre industry. Leveraging decades of knowledge in system deployment and technological advancement, these modules help our team in elevating their design capabilities to the next level. One of the standout aspects of the programme was the emphasis on sustainability within data centres, and how they can be meticulously designed and operated with environmental considerations at the forefront.
At a time when global apprehension regarding the environmental impact of data centres is on the rise, the insights garnered from these sessions and e-learning modules hold value for us. They underscore the alignment of our projects with our overarching dedication to sustainability, reinforcing our commitment to innovative, efficient, responsible, and eco-conscious practices.
