About the role

Black & White Engineering (B&W) is a leading MEP design consultancy. Launched in the UAE in 2007, we became an independent company in 2014 and are now a true global consultancy with offices in Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

Our engineering expertise reaches across all sectors of the construction industry, providing pragmatic and practical design solutions to ensure our projects are spatially and operationally efficient. Our design process fully considers the installation and maintenance practicalities on site.

The purpose of this role is to work in partnership with our global teams to devise and implement innovative communications activity across the business, taking ownership of key internal and external communications channels.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate in Marketing, Communications or similar field and ideally have experience of working in a global engineering organisation, although this is not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Support all company functions in any communications activity (CEO, Regional Directors, HR, Finance).
  • Perform market analysis and research as directed.
  • Coordinate with Graphics department content of marketing material.
  • Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
  • Manage events & communications calendar (awards, conferences, events) and logs.
  • Assist in preparation and content writing of award entry presentations, social media, website articles and internal communications.
  • Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
  • Manage all website updates.
  • Manage SharePoint News articles.
  • Social Media – LinkedIn: Identify subject matter, liaise with SM team, write posts, coordinate graphics, log posts in tracker.
  • Manage press liaison, press releases, editorial opportunity, collaboration.
  • Help with the planning and hosting of marketing / client events.
  • Ensure brand standard compliance.
Role Requirements (Professional & Technical Expertise)
  • Must have a passion for communication.
  • Graduate in marketing, communications, or similar field.
  • Ability to manage self and request support when relevant.
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with graphics computer software and social media platforms.
  • Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work with senior management and directors.
  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written English.
  • Highly skilled in copywriting and editing.
  • Have an excellent understanding of all MS Office tools, InDesign and WordPress.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
