About the role
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for design, and coordination of engineering project services for Electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc. The Electrical Engineer ensures projects are successfully delivered, adhering to B&W standard/ quality and timelines whilst managing Revit resources efficiently.
The Electrical Engineer role is to assist the Sr. Engineer / Principal Engineer in an ongoing commitment to the philosophy of the business and its implementation. The Electrical Engineer role also plays a key part in providing support to the TD in the following areas:
- Front Office (FO) liaison
- Performing Engineering Calculations
- Adopt B&W Standards in project.
- Manage Revit team efficiently.
- Own the “One Team Culture”
- Coordinating with Mechanical Team for Electrical requirement.
- Perform software analysist.
Requirements
The Electrical Engineer position suits an experienced and qualified Electrical engineering design professional. He/she will possess the technical knowledge, design experience and project delivery background necessary to support design teams in the successful delivery of a broad range of building types.
They will have a keen interest in new developments and technical advancements within the Electrical engineering design field. Having specific Data Centre design experience will be an advantage.
- Significant experience of design and specification for Electrical systems for range of applications.
- Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Technical understanding with the ability to communicate this knowledge clearly verbally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritize own workload.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to understand scope and scheduling changes in accordance with the change control process.
- Technical knowledge in Electrical discipline.
- Technical knowledge about the type of capital equipment and their applications.
- Proficient at using IT based calculation and current discipline based software, like; ETAP, Amtech, Dialux, Navis, Microsoft office, BIM 360 etc.
- Knowledge of international Codes & Standards.
- Presentation skills.
- Willingness to develop further skills and knowledge through ongoing personal development and training.
