Ram is an experienced leader in Mechanical and CFD Engineering, with a career that blends advanced research, technical excellence, and global project delivery. His research on data centres pioneered one of the most energy-efficient rack-cooled prototypes, achieving 40 kW to 110 kW per rack capacity, and established him as a thought leader in sustainable high-density data centre design. Since joining Black & White in 2022, he has delivered a wide portfolio of CFD projects worldwide, guiding clients through both data centre (up to 1GW) and non-data centre challenges with innovative, energy-efficient solutions.
Beyond project delivery, Ram has strengthened industry knowledge through seven published papers and three thought-leadership articles, including in DCD. As an accredited Low Carbon Consultant (LCC), he also drives sustainability by helping organisations reduce energy use and meet building compliance standards in England and Scotland. His leadership, technical depth, and ability to translate complex challenges into practical solutions continue to set benchmarks for excellence and inspire confidence across global clients.
Clive is a Project Leader with over 25 years of international experience.
Working across multiple industry sectors including utlities, telecoms, building controls and development projects, building talented teams to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Notable projects include mission critical telecoms and satellite infrastructure for defence systems in KSA. Utilities infrastructure at Palm Jumeirah Dubai and Control systems for North Africas first Smart City.
His recent relocation to Singapore supports the regional growth strategy extending our reach into new territories, developing strategies to deliver additional value to our Clients.
Atul is a Global BIM Application Specialist at Black & White, based in our Newcastle office. He joined as a BIM consultant while completing his MSc in Construction Project Management with BIM at Northumbria University, later moving into his current specialist role.
With 15 years of industry experience, Atul began his career as an Architect on high-rise commercial and residential projects before transitioning into BIM, combining his design expertise with digital technologies. He holds RICS certifications in Quantity Surveying and BIM – Project Management, and his MSc dissertation explored the adoption of DfMA within the M&E sub-sector through BIM integration.
Atul has a strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and Asset Information Requirements, ensuring information compliance and structured delivery across the asset lifecycle. He has also contributed to the development of in-house BIM standards aligned with ISO 19650.
Blending technical depth with innovation, Atul develops custom solutions across Autodesk Platform Services (APS), Revit, and Navisworks—leveraging AI-assisted vibe coding to prototype apps and streamline workflows rapidly.
Edmar is a Regional Sustainability Head (MENA) based in our Dubai office. He is a certified LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP BD+C), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME), a member of ASHRAE and a member of the US Green Building Council. A highly qualified expert in sustainability and in mechanical engineering, he has worked across the Middle East and Europe since 2009 in various building sectors such as commercial, healthcare, retail, and technology and data centres. Edmar’s portfolio includes multiple LEED Gold certified Data Centre projects across the Globe. He is an advocate of cost-effective and sustainable design and a strong believer in technology-based and integrative approach to engineering. With his strong working knowledge of building services engineering, he provides a robust sustainable engineering solution that exceeds Client aspirations and with a reduced environmental impact. Edmar was recognized as one of the top engineers in the Middle East in 2023 in the Filipino Times UAE. He is also passionate in mentoring engineers and is actively involved in volunteering in mechanical engineering institution in the Middle East. He currently sits as Chair of Professional Enhancement within PSME UAE.
David is the Global Director of Civil and Structural Engineering and is based in our London office. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers and has worked for some of the top engineering consultancies around the world.
David has over thirty (35) years’ experience in the design, implementation and ongoing management of civil and structural engineering schemes in the UK and overseas. These include high rise, retail, commercial and industrial buildings, data centres, battery factories, airport terminal buildings, railway stations and depots, tunnels, sewage treatment works, water storage tanks and pumping stations. David has also been involved in the assessment and retrofit of existing structures and forensic investigation into cause of failures.
He is experienced in leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and has overseas experience on projects in Europe, the Far East, Australasia and the Middle East. Much of his time has been spent working with offshore design centres using multiple teams in different geographical locations. He is adept at working with contractors to work designs around construction restraints.
Evi is a Business Manager in our Singapore office. She focuses on streamlining operations and driving innovation to support growth. With two decades of experience across tech, startup, and retail sectors, she applies her expertise to deliver practical solutions.
Prior to joining Black & White, Evi helped various businesses achieve tangible results. One highlight was contributing to a company’s significant growth, leading to regional market leadership. She was recognised with the “Most Ingenious Player of the Year” for her exceptional achievements.

In her role as People Manager for the UK and Europe based in our Newcastle office, Amy is responsible for executing our global people strategy on a regional scale. She ensures that our regional business plans align with our people strategy and that we advance the Black & White brand to become an industry-leading employer of choice.
Amy joined the Black & White team in October 2023, bringing with her more than 20 years of extensive experience in various HR positions within the pharmaceutical medical devices and science sectors.
Amy has a business degree and as a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD), is a seasoned people leader who derives great satisfaction from fostering the growth of individuals and witnessing their accomplishments as well as working closely with business leaders to drive the business forward.
John joined Black & White in September 2023 as the Head of Site Services – Germany, based in our Frankfurt office. With a rich background in electrical installations and inspections, he commenced his professional journey as an Apprentice Electrician and progressively advancing to roles like Electrical Package Manager.
Over the past years, John has consistently demonstrated his commitment to data centre projects in both the UK and Germany. In his role at Black & White, John’s primary responsibility is to build and lead a highly skilled and efficient site team, all operating from our Frankfurt office. His extensive experience and passion for the data centre sector make him an invaluable member of our team, serving as a driving force behind our dedication to delivering exceptional services in the region.
On a personal level, John takes pleasure in cycling, swimming, and learning to speak German better. He is a dedicated fan of Newcastle United.
Kevin joined Black & White in 2023 as our Group IT Manager, bringing with him a wealth of professional experience that dates back to 1998. With an extensive background in the field, Kevin has accumulated a wide range of skills and affiliations, making him a valuable asset to the company. He is a distinguished Microsoft Azure Cloud Administrator, AWS Cloud Solutions Architect, and AWS Cloud Practitioner.
Kevin’s expertise spans across various domains, including Multi Cloud Solutions encompassing Azure, AWS, and OCI Cloud Infrastructure. Additionally, he possesses proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, specialising in Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive migration and implementation. With his deep knowledge in Enterprise Architecture and Data Center IT Infrastructure Design, Implementation, and Management, Kevin is instrumental in developing robust and efficient IT frameworks.
