PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

This role will be part of, and provide support to, our Manila office and will be working significantly for and under the guidance of our Singapore office Director.

• Monitors budgets and controls expenditure to meet financial targets for own areas
• Sets and meets agreed deadlines
• Allocates tasks and coordinates activities
• Represents the group/office/ discipline/profession internally and externally
• Authors official documents e.g., letters and reports for internal or external use
• May in addition be responsible for one or more of the following:
  • Manages projects, work area, or technical skill set
  • Predicting and planning future resources, which may include setting up new projects and project plans
  • Design and delivery of events, activities, processes, and/or projects which have a major impact on the management of the business
  • Performance and development of others, providing guidance, training, motivational and directional feedback

• Registered engineer with minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of commercial, high rise, hospital, and data centre projects
• Experience in working on local projects is an advantage
• Works mainly without supervision; refers upwards as necessary
• Focusing on all aspects of projects within the country, including significant client-facing roles; you will be an integral part of the overall Manila office team and will also be called on to work on any projects domestically and globally as required to meet our business needs
• Significant experience in Philippine project planning and delivery requirements including site due diligence, contact, and processes relevant to all statutory and utility services, with a sound high-level understanding of project permit and approval requirements
